The Association of Liturgical Ministers (ALM) is a professional association of musicians and liturgists serving parishes and schools in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis in Minnesota. ALM is a membership-based association serving our individual and parish members with education, networking, support, and spiritual renewal.
All members of the Church are called to a life of service and prayer. As liturgical ministers within this Church, ALM members recognize their call to serve the Church in the area of worship.
Statement of Association Goals:
This organization shall have as the following goals:
Promote professional competency for liturgical ministers by providing opportunities for professional development through the exchange of ideas and in-service formation
Foster networking opportunities among its members
Promote cooperation with other professional organizations and entities
Membership:
Membership in this organization is open to all persons who develop, maintain or serve in liturgical ministry at the parish or diocesan level. Membership is based on parish structure; a parish or institution is considered a member when it pays annual dues to be determined by the board. Anyone from a parish which is considered a member may register for ALM events as an ALM member. Registrations for individual persons are also available.
